February Book Haul

First of all, I know that we are currently in the month of March, not February. BUT these are all of the books I got during the moth of February. I felt like I had to wait until the month was over just to make sure I could include them all. I’m going to try and write a book haul every month so you guys can see what books may be featured on the blog later -in reviews and so on. Okay, let’s get into it!

As always, the titles of the book will take you to their Goodreads page.

Books I bought -and a gift

So I bought the following books:

Murder of Crows (The Others #2) by Anne Bishop
Outlander (Outlander #1) by Diana Gabaldon – FOR THE READ-A-LONG
Wild by Cheryl Strayed
The Silmarillion (Middle Earth Universe) by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Bone Season (The Bone Season #1) by Samantha Shannon
Quiet: The Power of Introverts by Susan Cain
Theft of Swords (Riyria Revelations #1-2) by Michael J. Sullivan

P.S. Every book I buy, I buy from the Bookdepository. I have a button in the sidebar that will take you to their website -it is an affiliate link though.

And I received the following book:

The Miniaturist by Jessie Burton

There’s a little story behind this gift! So, as some of you may know I study Business Administration at a university in Brussels and in February we took a little 5 day trip to London to visit some companies and gain some insight in the different industries. My friend and I got the chance to visit Pan Macmillan for an hour and afterwards the incredible woman who showed us around gave us both a free copy of The Miniaturist!

Library books

Burial Rites by Hannah Kent
Conversion by Katherine Howe

So it is confession time. I haven’t read any of the library books… I will probably have to return them -unread- and lend them out again another time. Oops.

So I COMPLETELY forgot to keep track of the books I received for review in February! I’m really sorry, there’s obviously room for improvement here. I promise I’ll keep track of everything in March..

Did you buy or receive -for review, maybe?- any books this month? If you’ve made a post about it, go ahead and leave a link to it in the comments, I love to check them out. And if you haven’t, you could always just list them if you want!

  1. I have to return unread library books a lot and it PAINS ME. Wah. But there just aren’t enough hours in the day, right?! This looks like an epic haul…and quite intense reading! I hope you have a good time with Tolkien and the Bone Season. 😉 Someday I’ll get brave enough to attempt Tolkien again. I read LOTR when I was younger and I just didn’t appreciate it.

    • Me too! I just don’t have time to read them all… Thank you! I’m trying to read a bit less and slower so I can enjoy it more and take more from it :D. I tried to read it when I was younger too, but English isn’t my first language and it was quite hard for me then. But I loved it when I read it again last year 😀
