Hi everyone! May has gone -THANK YOU UNIVERSE- so it is time for another monthly wrap up. This month, I’m trying out a new format –I hope you’ll enjoy it. I read a surprising amount of books this month, considering I had 9 deadlines for university and had to start studying for exams. I figured out that reading de-stresses me. So in months of great stress –like exam months, hello June- I still tend to read a fair amount.
The titles will lead you to their Goodreads pages.

Some statistics
Books read this month: 19 + 1 DNF
Books read in 2015 (so far): 55
DNFs of 2015: 2
Medium: 5 on Kindle, 5 on e-reader, 4 audiobooks, 6 physical copies -one from the library.
Best book of the month: I CAN’T CHOOSE. I guess I’d go with Uprooted or The Angelfall trilogy!
Best surprise of the month: Allies and Assassins! I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
Worst book of the month: Daredevil! I DNF’ed this book guys. I’m so sorry –I can feel the disappointment. I really didn’t enjoy this volume. I thought the story was really weird, the characters unlikable and strange too, etc. Maybe I’ll try my luck with the TV show!
Accomplishment of the month: AUDIOBOOKS! I have never really jumped on the audiobook bandwagon, as I found them quite hard to concentrate on. But this month, I have listened to 4 audiobooks: The Night Circus –read by Jim Dale-, A Stolen Life, and the first two Harry Potter books –which are read by Stephen Fry. I really enjoyed this new medium!
What a great month! I’m glad to see you enjoyed Angelfall! I just rented it from the library, and I’ve heard so many positive comments about it!

I actually quite enjoyed it! I went into it with neutral expectations because I’d already seen mixed reviews about it. And I think that’s partly why I enjoyed it. I am a bigger fan of Throne of Glass, but I do think ACOTAR is worth checking out! 🙂

Wow that is a great amount. I just started my first audio book. I have a hard time picking it up, but when I do I do enjoy it.

Thanks! I felt the same for my first audiobook. But I started looking at the narrator first before I started listening, and it’s great for re-reads as well!
